About Daavlin

Daavlin is a leading manufacturer of phototherapeutic products world-wide. Our mission is to provide effective and convenient treatments for sufferers of psoriasis, vitiligo, and eczema. This drives everything we do, from how we design and build our products to our unparalleled standard of customer service to how we hire people. We’re proud of our tradition of innovation and compassion in the field of phototherapy and our commitment to an inspiring, collaborative, and fulfilling work culture.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a “road warrior” team member, you’ll play a vital role in the success of Daavlin’s customers. You’ll be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our customers in the field—in person with patients, onsite at clinics, and via telephone, email, text, and fax. But our field techs do more than troubleshoot equipment; they are also brand ambassadors between Daavlin and its customers. We seek compassionate, service-oriented techs to represent Daavlin’s expertise and professionalism in the field.

Essential responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Extensive travel throughout the United States and occasionally overseas

  • Provide expert and seamless delivery, installation, training, and repair service to Daavlin customers

  • Collaborate with the service/engineering teams to improve product quality and performance

  • Analyze and resolve technical issues with equipment in the field

  • Ensure Daavlin’s equipment in the field is calibrated and running in tip-top condition

  • Timely completion of all paperwork related to service activities and inventory transactions

  • Provide back-up for our on-premise Technical Support Team

  • Assist with technical training for new and existing employees (as needed)

3 reasons you should apply...

  • You have a curious mind and enjoy troubleshooting technical issues.

  • You can break down complex devices into bite-sized training for all types of customers (patients, doctors, nurses).

  • You’re comfortable working independently in the field, with a stellar headquarters team to support you as needed.

This job may not be for you if...

  • Traveling up to 75% of the time isn’t the best fit for you.

  • Working for a flexible, adaptable team with fast-changing schedules isn’t something you’re comfortable embracing.

  • You have trouble with paperwork. It’s a field service job, but it generates a lot of time-sensitive service reports.

Skills You’ll Need

  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude

  • Professional demeanor (appearance, speech, communication)

  • Consistent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Highly organized and punctual self-starter

  • Exceptional standard of integrity, discretion, patience, and compassion

  • Two-year degree or related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

  • Preference may be given to bilingual candidates
